The Holidays are Nearly Here!

It’s hard to believe that December 1 will be here tomorrow! This will mark the official start of the Whistler Children’s Chorus and Whistler Singers’ holiday season – we’ll be caroling around Whistler Village on December 1, 2, 8, 9, 15 & 16. Whew!

But that’s only the beginning of our holiday fun. The Whistler Children’s Chorus will have their Holiday Concert on Sunday, December 10 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Whistler Public Library. This is the Children’s Chorus’ ONLY concert without the adult singers, so you won’t want to miss this one. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.

One week later, you’ll find the Whistler Singers (the aforementioned adult singers) at the Library for their Winter Lights Holiday Concert. This concert will take place on Sunday, December 17 at 7 p.m. and admission is by donation.

But, there’s more! As many of you know, we had to cancel our Christmas Eve Service last year due to extremely poor weather here in Whistler. In a way, it was an easy choice, because it wasn’t safe to be on the roads! That means that this year (weather-permitting) will be the 39th Annual Christmas Eve Service of Lessons & Carols. Join the Whistler Singers and Whistler Children’s Chorus on Sunday, December 24 at Whistler Public Library. This is a much smaller venue than in past years, so seating will be limited and first-come, first-served. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the service will run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

We hope to see you out at some of these performances!
